ABOUT ME
I have been teaching for Springfield Public Schools since 1988. I started my career at Page Elementary as a 2nd grade teacher. I then taught at the old Mt. Vernon as a kindergarten teacher. After it closed, I moved to Mohawk Elementary as a 2/3 teacher and finally ended up at Walterville in 2002. I grew up in Pleasant Hill...a country girl at heart, so Walterville feels like home to me! I have three children. My oldest daughter is studying nursing and works at McKenzie-Willamette Hospital in the ER as a paramedic. My middle daughter just graduated from Western Oregon University with a degree in Spanish and health and is teaching Spanish at A3 High School. My son is a senior at Thurston High School and plays varsity baseball. I love to travel, listen to music, spend time with friends and family and be anywhere warm!
